Parent Workshop
We are please to announce that Judy Wolman, Ph.D, of Sandy Springs Psychological Center, will be speaking with us on Thursday, March 6 at 7:00 p.m. Judy will conduct an open dialog about issues of concern to our parent body. Please send your questions and/or topics in advance to TCS Counselor Kathy Roberts at kathyr@thechildrensschool.com. Last year Judy spoke with our parents at a Lunch and Learn series about Encouraging Resiliency in our children. She is a wonderful speaker and a well-known psychologist. We hope that you will make it a point to attend next Thursday.
We will provide babysitting during the program. Please tell Kathy how many children you will bring.
Re-Enrollment
Parents:
Online Re-enrollment has begun. By now you should have already received an email with a link to your personal re-enrollment homepage. This page details the steps you need to re-enroll students for the 2008-09 school year. Note that the re-enrollment deadline is March 3.
We realize that some of you are not receiving email messages sent from the Veracross post office due to spam filtering. If that is the case, please follow these instructions:
Login to the Veracross Parent portal at www.veracross.com/tcs.
From your parent homepage, click on the Online Enrollment link located at the bottom right under the column Next Year.
Steps for Re-Enrollment are below. If you have one or more children NOT re-enrolling next year, please skip to Step 2.
Step 1: Read the Memorandum from our Business Office Manger, Liz LeBlanc. This memo is important as there have been changes made to our tuition payment plans.
Step 2: Update your Family Information and add any emergency contacts for next year. If you are re-enrolling you must check the confirmation box (at the bottom) and click Update. (Note that you must complete this step before your Re-Enrollment Contract link will appear in Step 5). If you have one or more child NOT re-enrolling please change the Enrollment Intention field (for each applicable student) to Not Re-Enrolling, check the confirmation box and click on Update.
Step 3: Review the Tuition and Fee Schedule & Discovery Fees for next year. These have changed from this year, so please read them carefully.
Step 4: Designate whether you’ll be applying for financial aid for next year. (Note that you must also complete this step before your Re-Enrollment Contract link will appear in Step 5).
Step 5: Complete the re-enrollment contract by reading & agreeing to the Tuition Policies, selecting a tuition payment plan and optional fees and electronically signing the contract.
Step 6: Print out the printable version of the Enrollment Contract with confirmation number for your records. If you are paying your deposit by check, also print out a copy to accompany your payment.
Step 7: Pay for your deposit by credit card or by check payable to The Children’s School. Return all checks with a printed Enrollment contract to the Business Office before March 3. Our mailing address is: 345 Tenth Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Note that when you complete all of these steps, the re-enrollment checkbox will NOT be marked as complete. This is because you haven’t complete Phase 2 of re-enrollment which will occur early this summer. You will receive more information about later in the year.
